During her stay in Rome around 1803–1804, she commissioned the renowned sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen to create her portrait bust in marble — a masterpiece reflecting grace, poise, and the refined style of the Neoclassical era.

For many years, the marble bust remained unidentified, until art historian Else Kai Sass (1947) confirmed it as Golitsyna’s portrait, linking it to a contemporary painting and the marble version now preserved at Thorvaldsen’s Museum (A304).

This detailed reproduction is made from high-resolution 3D scans of the original sculpture, ensuring every fine feature is faithfully captured.
